Job Title: Retail Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in our retail pharmacy. This role involves assisting the pharmacist with prescription preparation, providing exceptional service to customers, and helping maintain an organized and compliant pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in accurately filling, labeling, and packaging prescriptions
• Process insurance claims and verify patient information
• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers at the pharmacy counter and over the phone
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, including receiving orders and restocking shelves
• Handle transactions and operate the cash register
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and pharmacy safety standards
• Support the pharmacist with administrative and record-keeping tasks

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy Technician certification or license (as required by state)
• Previous pharmacy or retail experience is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with good math and computer skills
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment:

• May require standing for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
