General Labor (Secondary)

The General Laborer is responsible for safe and efficient work during high speed cigarette or cigar manufacturing.

• Accurately fill out and maintain production paperwork.
• Load materials to be processed by making machines.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs occasionally.
• Safely operate powered pallet jack.
• Correctly mark and label finished products according to established standards.
• Pack out finished cases with correct amount of product.
• Weigh finished product and notify operators if problem arises.
• Load finished products on pallets.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Production Supervisor or Secondary Manager.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic mathematical, written and verbal skills.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hour shift.
• Strong safety orientation required.
• Have at least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment a plus.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Preferred tobacco manufacturing experience a plus.
