The compensation package includes:

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Head of Manufacturing Engineering to lead and scale our Manufacturing Engineering vertical across global markets. This executive-level role will own the complete P&L of the vertical, drive international customer relationships, and lead large, multi-regional engineering delivery teams.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a seasoned manufacturing engineering professional with deep domain expertise and strong commercial acumen.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership

·  Develop and execute the global strategy for the Manufacturing Engineering vertical.

·  Identify market expansion opportunities across India, EU, and USA.

·  Drive innovation in manufacturing processes, digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, automation, and lean transformation.

·  Align vertical objectives with overall company growth and profitability goals.

P&L Ownership

·  Own and manage full profit and loss accountability for the vertical.

·  Drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and cost optimization.

·  Build and manage annual budgets, forecasting, and financial performance tracking.

Global Customer Management

·  Build and maintain executive-level relationships with international customers.

·  Lead commercial discussions including proposals, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.

·  Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership development.

 

Global Delivery & Operations

·  Lead large, cross-functional, and geographically distributed teams.

·  Ensure high-quality project delivery, on-time execution, and operational efficiency.

·  Establish best practices in manufacturing engineering processes and delivery frameworks.

·  Drive performance metrics, utilization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Leadership

·  Provide subject matter expertise in:

o   Manufacturing process engineering

o   Tooling & fixture design

o   Production line setup & optimization

o   Automation & robotics

o   Lean manufacturing & Six Sigma

o   FMEA, APQP, PPAP

o   Cost reduction and value engineering

Team Leadership & Talent Development

·   Build, mentor, and retain high-performing global teams.

·  Strengthen leadership bench strength within the vertical.

·  Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer excellence.

Travel

·  Domestic and international travel is required to support customers and global teams.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

·  Master’s degree+ in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field

·  15–20 years of experience in one or more of the following industries (mandatory):

o   Heavy engineering

o   Earth moving equipment

o   Automotive

o   Industrial equipment

·  Leadership Competencies:

o   Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial mindset

o   Strong commercial acumen

o   Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

o   Ability to operate in a global matrix organization

o   High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness

o   Proven experience managing large, multi-location engineering teams

o   Demonstrated P&L or revenue responsibility

o   Strong executive presence and leadership maturity

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

·   Deep expertise in Manufacturing Process Engineering

·  Production line design, setup, balancing, and optimization

·  Tooling & fixture design and validation

·  Lean Manufacturing implementation (Kaizen, VSM, 5S, TPM)

·  Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred or equivalent hands-on experience)

·  APQP, PPAP, FMEA methodologies

·  Root Cause Analysis (8D, Fishbone, 5 Why)

·  Cost reduction / Value Engineering initiatives

·  CAPEX planning and manufacturing feasibility studies

·  Experience supporting NPI (New Product Introduction) to full-scale production

·  Knowledge of global manufacturing standards and compliance

Required Systems & Digital Manufacturing Knowledge 

ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)PLM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar)Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)Working knowledge of CAD tools (Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, etc.)Advanced Excel & data-driven decision makingKPI dashboards and performance analytics

DESIRED SKILLS:

· Experience with CFD / FEA collaboration in manufacturing readiness

· Advanced data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python exposure)

· Experience leading global manufacturing transfers
