Employee Relations Manager / Executive Assistant to the GM
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role.
It’s also not a traditional HR role.
It is a position of trust, presence, discretion, and influence.
We are looking for a rare person who can sit comfortably at the intersection of people, culture, and execution—someone employees naturally trust, leaders rely on, and chaos quietly avoids.
Who You Are (Read This Carefully)
You have a dynamic but grounded personality. People feel at ease with you quickly—but you don’t need to be the loudest voice in the room to lead.
- Employees come to you because you feel safe, warm, and real
- Leadership trusts you because you are discreet, loyal, and precise
- You can run an event, manage a project, and protect confidential information—often all in the same day
- You notice details others miss and anticipate needs before they’re spoken
- You can keep a secret. Period.
You’re equally comfortable:
- Planning and leading employee engagement events
- Supporting community initiatives and representing the company publicly
- Managing sensitive conversations and information behind closed doors
- Organizing projects, priorities, calendars, emails, and communications for the General Manager
You understand that presence matters—how you show up, how you listen, and how you carry information.
What You’ll Do
Employee Relations & Culture
- Be a trusted, approachable resource for employees across all departments
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal events
- Help strengthen cross-department relationships and company culture
- Assist in planning and executing community involvement and outreach events
Executive Support
- Serve as Executive Assistant to the General Manager
- Screen emails, calls, and requests with discernment and judgment
- Assist with projects, follow-ups, and organization of priorities
- Maintain absolute confidentiality and sign a strict NDA
Creative + Operational Balance
- Bring fresh ideas to the table to improve employee engagement and connection
- Help turn ideas into organized, executable plans
- Balance creativity with strong follow-through and attention to detail
What This Role Requires
- High emotional intelligence and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Natural discretion and comfort handling confidential information
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Confidence without ego
- Creativity paired with execution
- Professionalism, warmth, and poise
This Role Is Not For Someone Who:
- Wants a purely administrative or task-only role
- Needs constant direction or validation
- Struggles with confidentiality
- Is uncomfortable navigating sensitive situations
- Prefers structure over people
Why This Role Is Special
You’ll work directly with the General Manager and have a meaningful impact on the employee experience, company culture, and day-to-day operations. This role carries influence without hierarchy and trust without micromanagement.
If you’re the kind of person who people naturally confide in—and leadership naturally relies on—you may have just found your place.
