About this position

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated counter help to provide an excellent experience to our customers. Job seekers should have a background in food service and exceptional communication, listening, and problem-solving skills. Previous experience preferred.

Compensation:

$17+ hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Keeping the front of the shop clean and tidy throughout the shift
  • Being the point of contact between customers and decorators
  • Taking orders over the phone and in person
  • Keeping inventory of front-of-house supplies
Qualifications:
  • Previous work in a customer-facing position
  • Display strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills
  • The schedule will consist of 5 work days. We are closed on Sundays, Saturdays are a must
  • Flexibility with scheduling and daily tasks
  • Very comfortable speaking to people daily and striking up a conversation

We are a small bakery in Melrose, MA. With a variety of products for walk-in consumption, and with orders placed ahead of time for pickup.
