Senior Human Capital Strategy Analyst
Location: Washington, DC (National Place) 5 days onsite
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst with over five (5) years of experience in human resources, Federal personnel processes, staff alignments, developing position descriptions, and strategic communications. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about supporting Federal personnel initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates in‑depth knowledge of Federal human resources laws, regulations, and personnel processes.
- Develops, evaluates, and updates position descriptions to ensure accuracy, compliance with Federal standards, and alignment with organizational needs.
- Coordinates with HR specialists, leadership, and subject‑matter experts to support strategic goals and operational effectiveness.
- Lead multiple high-priority projects in an evolving organizational environment.
- Develop, edit, and proofread internal and external communications, including comprehensive policies, reports, emails, newsletters, and presentations.
- Support the development of strategic deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all communications, ensuring professionalism and clarity.
- Manage content, documents, and communication materials through SharePoint or other content management systems.
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts, develop metrics for success, and support performance management initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in human resources, federal personnel processes, staff alignments, and strategic communications within a government or highly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing organizational needs.
- Proven experience managing mission-oriented business programs and high-priority projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply methodologies such as performance management, data mining, and statistical analysis.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on strategic communication development.
- Knowledge of organizational change management, cost-saving strategies, and operational efficiency practices.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships across the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint (including site customization).
- Must possess or be able to obtain a government security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Federal personnel processes, staff alignments, and developing position descriptions.
- Experience in writing and editing business communications, including reports, newsletters, and presentations.
- Familiarity with communication best practices in a corporate or project-based environment.
- Experience with business process development, project management tools, and methodologies.
- Previous experience with SharePoint or other document management systems is a plus.
