Student: 1 adult (male, professional)
Location: In-person lessons are to be held at the student's home in Warken Ettelbruck (9019)
Preferred start date: ASAP
Details
Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings (5:00pm - 8:00pm)
Lesson Frequency: 2 times per week
Lesson Duration: 60 minutes per session
Current Luxembourgish level: Complete beginner
Native and other spoken languages: Afrikaans, English
Student’s language needs and goals: "I require to learn the Luxembourgish language in order to get citizenship - the test is called Sproochentest Lëtzebuergesch, I would also like to know the language to communicate and get around easier."
Responsibilities
Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications
Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
Minimum of two years of teaching experience
Experience preparing students for citizenship language exam (Sproochentest Lëtzebuergesch)
