POSITION SUMMARY
Provide clinical oversight of clinical students and programs for the purposes of recruiting, supporting, and retaining employees. Conducts evidence-based research and uses available resources and various instructional approaches to develop and implement training programs based on hospital protocols, policies and procedures, and regulatory standards to facilitate learning and competence. Evaluates the effectiveness of educational programs and provides appropriate documentation of educational activities. Ensures high quality, compassionate healthcare through continued personal, professional development and innovative thinking, and functions as a professional role model for students and staff.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education

Bachelor’s in Nursing Education |
Minimum Experience
●Three (3) years-experience in healthcare-related field. Two (2) years-experience in health-related education.
Required Registration/License/Certification
●Holds current license in healthcare related field
●BLS within 90 days of hire of transfer
Preferred Education
●Master’s in Nursing Education
Preferred Experience
●One year or more experience in management or supervisory position.
Preferred Registration/License/Certification
●Nursing Professional Development Certification
