Academic Program Coordinator

 

Manage day-to-day activities of the DPT program, including:

·      Maintenance and coordination of annual programmatic and academic calendars, oversight of communication to all program stakeholders         (faculty, students, advisory panel, etc.) related to upcoming tasks, events, etc.

·      Coordinate schedule for College in HS activities and programmatic outreach to PTA programs

·      Coordinate and complete annual surveys

·      Assist with data collection for programmatic assessment.

 

Administrative:

·      Assist in project planning, prioritization, initiation and execution.

·      Providing administrative and planning support for all aspects of departmental and program meetings and functions

·      Maintain departmental records in an organized, accessible manner.

·      Develop, implement and maintain budget management approaches and coordinate between DPT program and HU administrative offices         on purchases, fee-for-use, shared supplies, etc.

·      Routinely perform a wide variety of support duties

·      Handle printing, faxing, mail/overnight packages, copying, filing, and email/messages.

·      Sort and triage mail; maintain e-mail and other address directories.

·      Compose and prepare letters relating to routine correspondence.

·      Schedule departmental meetings; assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and materials.

·      Transcribe source material, prepare documents, reports, tables and charts; distribute as appropriate.

·      Prepare, reconcile, and submit expense reports.

·      Maintain confidential and sensitive information, including FERPA compliance.

·      Attend meetings and take minutes; prepare the initial draft of minutes and summaries.

·      Complete a variety of special projects including creating PowerPoint presentations, financial spreadsheets, special reports, and agenda           material.

·      Order and communicate with students access to all program apps and at-home-equipment (Physio U, treatment mats, etc.)

·      Act as primary point of contact for all applicant and student programmatic communications

·      Serve as a liaison between the DPT program and the public.

·      Receiving and screening programmatic phone calls and visitors, answering questions with tact and diplomacy, taking messages, and               directing calls appropriately for resolution.

·      Draft, review and send communications on behalf of DPT program leadership.

·      Coordinate work with HU administration, faculty and staff as needed.

·      Under direction of DCE and DPT lead, coordinate clinical education placements and communication (SCCE, CI, students)

·      Coordinate all clinical education communication, including March mailing, under direction of DCE.

·      Manage Exxat with DCE

 

Support EXSC and DPT programs during lab immersions.

·      Manage all technology set up for onsite labs and coordinate with other programs to coordinate use of technology outside of DPT Lab                immersions.

·      Coordinate lab immersions, including timely communication with all stakeholders.

·      Ensure adequate supplies are available for lab immersions.

·      Coordinate and manage simulation lab schedule

·      Coordinate and manage scheduling of standardized patients

·      Coordinating lab space needed for academic activities

·      Arrange travel and leverage HU relationships to secure housing and airfare for faculty during lab immersions.

·      Coordinate lodging and food for students during lab immersions

·      Oversee communications with and coordination of scheduling for DPT lab assistants

·      Secure records of all equipment calibration and certification per CAPTE requirements

·      Ensuring operation of essential equipment,

·      Managing service contracts, including linen delivery for lab immersions

·      Maintain up-to-date equipment inventory.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

All candidates must have the following qualifications:

·      Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

·      Time-management skills

·      Ability to pay attention to detail.

·      Basic understanding of frequently used computer software and programs, including the full Microsoft Office suite

·      Familiarity with the Canvas LMS (preferred)

·      Proven success with contributing to a positive workplace culture.

·      Ability to consistently demonstrate our school's core valves is necessary.

·      Organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills

·      Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.


This is an onsite position with flexibility to work remotely no more than 1-2 days week during non-lab times.

$45000.0 - $49000.0 Annual Salary
