Seasonal Sales & Operations Associate

Season:August - November

Responsibilities:

The Sales & Operations Associate will provide crucial support to both the sales and operations teams, ensuring smooth operations and efficient execution of business processes. Their responsibilities include delivery of product, managing sales data, assisting with sales reports, and ensuring the sales and Operations team has the necessary support they need. They also handle administrative tasks, customer accounts, and contribute to the overall success of the Sales and Operations department.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in sales and operations, preferably in the seafood sector
• Valid Drivers License
• Car for driving in and around the Seattle Tacoma area
• Strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies, as well as the ability to apply them in a practical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in excel and data entry
• Familiar with logistics coordination
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Willingness to travel as required
• Seafood Industry Experience a plus
• Spanish language proficiency a plus
• Forklift experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting and carrying: Loading and unloading cargo, as well as handling equipment, can involve lifting and carrying items of varying weights, up to 50 lbs
• Prolonged sitting: Drivers spend a significant amount of time seated, which can strain the back and legs
• Bending and twisting:Reaching for items, performing inspections, or securing loads can involve bending and twisting the body
