Job Description

Microvast is seeking an experienced HR administrator with expertise in payroll and benefits to join our HR Team. This role focuses on managing day-to-day employee and tax support activities across the U.S. Responsibilities include analyzing and resolving employee inquiries, ensuring compliance with payroll policies and laws, delivering exceptional customer service, processing payroll and collaborating with the accounting department on tax-related issues, reconciliations, and adjustments. This role will also support on HR recruiting, onboarding and offboarding and other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities 

  • Organize and maintain personnel records, update employee data, and manage HR databases.
  • Review, revise, and update company policies and prepare HR documents like employment contracts and compensation lists.
  • Generating reports for management 
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and tax regulations.
  • Preparing and distributing payroll statements and reconciling payroll data.
  • Assist with recruitment, Onboarding, offboarding, and training activities.
  • Assistant in preparing employee announcements.
  • Support payroll by providing accurate employee information, including leave, overtime, and work schedules.
  • Manage HRIS software and ensure data integrity for compliance and reporting.
  • Respond to employee queries and help resolve HR related issues internally.
  • Administering employee benefits such as medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, HSA, FSA, and life insurance.
  • Processing payroll, including merit raises, salary changes, garnishments, COBRA and severance.
  • Maintaining HRIS systems, tracking employee eligibility, and ensuring accurate benefit enrollments
  • Collaborating with Finance, IT, and external providers to resolve payroll or benefits issues.
  • Supporting audits and providing documentation for compliance and cost analysis.
  • Support on HRIS implementation systems as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities that might be assigned 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's in Business, Accounting or relevant field
  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of recent hands-on U.S. multi-state payroll experience required; US/Canada experience a plus
  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Experience in a high-volume, multi-tasking work environment required
  • Analytical skills for evaluating compensation and benefits data. 
  • Business and accounting knowledge bookkeeping and payroll accounting preferred.
  • Communication skills to explain benefits and payroll processes to employees at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Very good comprehension and analytical thinking skills
  • Careful and conscientious, structured and organized way of working
  • Team and communication skills 

Expected Compensation

 Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
