Entry-Level Production Clerk (Manufacturing)

John W. McDougall Co., Inc., an industry-leading architectural façade and specialty manufacturing contractor, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Production Clerk to support daily manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for individuals starting a career in manufacturing or operations, training will be provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter and update production data including work orders, quantities, and basic reports
- Organize, file, and maintain production records and paperwork
- Assist supervisors and team leads with administrative tasks
- Communicate production information with Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams
- Help track materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods
- Follow standard operating procedures, safety rules, and quality requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior clerical or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Work Schedule
- Full-time; shift and hours based on production needs
