Vegetation Management Foreman

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Vegetation Management Foreman to lead crews mowing solar field sites throughout Arkansas. This is a full-time, travel-based position with overnight travel 2–3 nights per week during the growing season.

As a Foreman, you will oversee daily operations in the field, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and serve as the primary point of contact between the crew, clients, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a vegetation management crew
• Coordinate and complete weekly mowing routes
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
• Train and mentor crew members
• Inspect, maintain, and oversee equipment care and service schedules
• Submit accurate timesheets, receipts, and job documentation on time
• Address on-site issues and report updates to management

Compensation & Benefits

• $20–$22 per hour (based on experience)
• 35–50 hours per week

Work Location: Travel throughout Arkansas (on the road)

Required:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or vegetation management
• Previous leadership or crew supervision experience
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and equipment operation
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
• Comfortable using mobile apps for communication, mapping, and time tracking

Preferred:

• Mechanical aptitude, especially with small engines and truck/trailer maintenance
