Position Overview:
As part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Franks Collision, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. Our team is dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while making the repair process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our customers. We're currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Paint Prep Technician.
Position Duties:
- Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair and status
- Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind
- Ability to spray is a plus
- Performing work as outlined on repair orders
- Performing prep, sanding, wiping, bagging, buffing as needed by the paint shop
- Operating all equipment in the collision center in a safe and productive manner
- Following Safety Standards for the use of personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) while working
- Inspecting all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completed
- Mixing all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications

- Valid Driver's License
- I-CAR Certification in body repair preferred knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer (OEM Certified Preferred)
- I-CAR / Paint Line certified a plus
- 1 Year Collision paint prep experience a plus
