At Pacific Smoke International, our mission is to help people quit smoking by providing safer alternatives to traditional cigarettes. As the leading distributor of electronic vaporizers and award-winning vaping products in Canada, we've made significant progress since our founding in 2013. However, we have much more to accomplish for our customers, and we're looking for a culturally aligned Brand Ambassador to join our dynamic team of Contractors.

In this independent contractor role, you will report directly to the B2B Marketing Manager and play a vital role in supporting in-store activations. The Brand Ambassador will play a crucial role in executing various marketing activations, within your assigned geography, to promote and enhance the visibility of our products, services, or brand. You will be responsible for supporting the execution of effective event plans and channel activation initiatives to drive engagement, generate demand for our products, and increase brand awareness/visibility within target audiences. Your ability to coordinate visit schedules, understand marketing materials type and placement, shelf plans, product assortment, and leverage marketing communication tools will be essential to achieving success in this role.

 

The Brand Ambassador (Contractor) will:

 

Brand Representation: 

Act as the face of the brand and embody its values and mission. Attend events, trade shows, and other promotional activities to represent the brand.Educate clients and customers on brand features and key selling points. 

 

Networking: 

Build quick relationships with customers, clients, and store staff. Collaborate with other Brand Ambassadors and company stakeholders. 

 

Promotional Activities: 

Support flawless execution of promotional events and campaigns. Distribute promotional materials and samples as needed.Achieve activation and promotional targets set for events and campaigns.

 

 

Sales Support: 

Assist in driving sales by influencing potential customers and providing information. Work closely with the Sales team to achieve common goals. 

 

Reporting: 

Provide regular reports on activities, feedback, and results using assigned tools. Report on the in-store effectiveness of promotional activities. Gather feedback from customers. Report on customer preferences, trends, and competitor activities.Record other data as required when executing events and campaigns.

 

Marketing Collateral: 

Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide insights on relevant marketing collateral and how it can be improved or changed to support events and campaigns. Ensure all promotional materials are consistent within parameters of the executions scorecard.

 

 

To be successful you should have:

 

Ability to travel within designated territory, and access to own transportation.Flexible availability, including available on select weekends to accommodate event and campaign needs.Curious and in tune with marketing communication tools.High attention to detail, and problem solver.Strong communication skills and able to effectively navigate potential conversations with customers, clients, and/or the target audience. 
Able to quickly and clearly articulate key messages and unique selling points.
Be adaptable and flexible to changes in marketing strategies and priorities. 
Be able to confidently interact with internal and external stakeholders.Able to connect and build relationships in a fast-paced environment.Able to lift up to 30lbs.
