Highland Dental is a privately held dental practice that is seeking a skilled and motivated Insurance Coordinator to join our team. As an Insurance Coordinator, you will work closely with our Insurance Manager, Office Manager and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients. This full-time position requires a team-oriented individual who is willing to assist in various areas of the office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, fast learner, and multi-task oriented, possessing an excellent work ethic and a passion for the dental industry. Experience in a dental front desk role and familiarity with Dentrix Software will be advantageous, although not mandatory.
As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your responsibilities will include managing patient accounts receivables, handling insurance claims, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and their families. You will be expected to maintain a welcoming atmosphere and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Responsibilities

- As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice
- Your responsibilities will include managing patient accounts receivables, handling insurance claims, Posting insurance and patient payments to patient’s ledger
- Build business relationships with insurance companies
- Follow up on aged insurance claims to ensure timely payments
- Handle insurance claims and insurance verification
- Understanding how to read an insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
- Ability to navigate insurance carrier’s websites to pull and EFT payments
- Batching insurance claims and submitting to insurance companies with proper attachments
- Perform End of Day task that includes balancing end of day reports
- Scan checks to practice bank account
- You will be expected to maintain a welcoming atmosphere and assist with administrative tasks as needed
- When asked upon, help manage patient appointments and scheduling
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Experience in a dental front desk role (Required)
- Knowledge of Dentrix Software (Preferred)
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
