A DAY IN THE LIFE

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with hiring, scheduling, barista training, completing managerial paperwork tasks, and running a clean, efficiently operating store. This role also serves as the managerial point of contact when the Store Manager is off shift; this includes the expectation of consistently working nights and weekends. The Assistant Manager performs a vital role in maintaining a positive culture of loving our baristas and customers and by exemplifying the core values of Scooter’s Coffee.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Positive and professional demeanor and the ability to convey a positive "team spirit" amongst staff members
Ability to communicate clearly
Prior leadership experience preferred, but not required; no prior Scooter’s management or barista experience necessary
