About this position
Laboratory Technicians needed to conduct laboratory experiments for the USDA/Forest Products Laboratory to advance the understanding of protein-based adhesives for wood products.
Job Duties:
- protein modification and analysis
- adhesive formulation and testing
- recording data in notebooks and spreadsheets
- analyzing and graphing of the data in reports
- providing weekly progress reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Sciences degree in Physical or biological sciences or have demonstrated physical laboratory skills.
- Must be proficient in the English language and as well as computer skills.
- Must be familiar with laboratory equipment and capable of all required task.
