Position Overview:
Responsible for overseeing progress and coordinating all aspects of manufacturing with regards to your “Key Customer.” Working towards the goal of on time performance, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This position will manage “Key Customer” communications, work with scheduling relative to production schedules, and coordination of cross functional teams to facilitate smooth and efficient “Key Customer” experience and project completion. Position will act as a liaison between “Key Customer,” shop floor, engineering, quality, and senior management.
Essential Job Functions:
Program Management
  • On “Key Customer” programs, will develop the customer relationship and oversee the account.
  • New orders management for “Key Customer”
  • Portal oversight
  • New job determination for “Key Customer”
    • Demand based
    • Loss event
  • Inventory management (Material Planning)
  • Tracker Management for “Key Customer”
    • Prioritization based on global success to FCG
  • Coordinate resources and team members from a cross-functional group to foresee and mitigate issues at future operations
  • Coordinate resources and team members from a cross-functional group to review lessons learned and determine future actions or changes
  • Participate and coordinate root cause analysis when required
Customer Contact
  • Will be the main point of contact for “Key Customer” regarding order progress, status, production issues, and quality conduit to Engineering and QC
  • Develop strong relationships while advocating for the best interest of FCG
  • Communicate effectively internally (Engineering, Production, Quality, Shipping / Warehouse to ensure customer needs are met
Scheduling and Production Coordination
  • Determine, using current resources, the most effective means to meet customer demand.
    • Oversee Trackers that have been published
    • Manage trackers daily by review and coordination of upcoming operations ensuring we are following scheduled dates or have a plan to get compliant with missed dates relative to “Key Customer”
    • Work with Production to resolve scheduling issues. Review and assist in creating priorities based on “Key Customer” needs.
    • Work with Purchasing for expedite options and schedule follow ups
Scheduling System Development:
  • Determine and implement continuous improvement in scheduling system
  • Develop relationship with EDI (JobBOSS)
  • Develop strategy to implement Global Scheduling working with Scheduling department
    • Implement Global Scheduling and maintain operation of system. Adapt technology in-house as needed for continuous improvement
    • Manage, create as needed, work center structure within the system to support growing business needs
    • Stay aware of developing technology within the scheduling industry
Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive continuous improvement within assigned programs via process improvement
  • Organize and lead root cause analysis activities as it applies to managed programs
  • Utilize lean manufacturing for inventory control and operational excellence

Salary Information

$70,000 - $120,000
