What You'll Do

• Prepare the OR: Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes for each procedure, ensuring a seamless start.

• Assist the Surgical Team: Act as a scrub tech, anticipating the surgeon's needs by efficiently passing instruments and supplies.

• Maintain Sterility: Uphold strict sterile techniques and protocols to ensure a safe surgical field and prevent infections.

• Manage Supplies: Handle and manage all surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization, maintenance, and inventory levels.

• Collaborate: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to maintain a collaborative and highly effective team environment.

Qualifications

• • • 1-2 years experience working as a Surgical Tech in a hospital or ambulatory healthcare setting.

    • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent training.

    • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or eligibility to obtain certification.

    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    • Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.

    • Ophthalmic experience is highly preferred, with a focus on proficiency in eye surgical procedures.

    • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

    • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
