The Islamic Foundation School is seeking a dynamic teacher to join the Quran Arabic studies program for students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Arabic with a focus on Quranic studies, Tajweed, and Islamic teachings. The instructor will be responsible for delivering structured lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels, fostering a deep understanding of the Arabic language and Quranic principles. 


Job Responsibilities

  • Teach Arabic language with an emphasis on Quranic recitation and understanding.
  • Instruct students on Tajweed rules and proper pronunciation.
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to different learning levels.
  • Conduct assessments to track student progress and provide feedback.
  • Encourage a respectful and engaging learning environment.
  • Utilize various teaching methodologies to enhance student comprehension.
  • Provide one-on-one support as needed for students requiring additional assistance.
  • Incorporate Islamic values and teachings into lessons where appropriate.
  • Maintain records of student attendance and progress.
  • Participate in school or community events related to Quranic education.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Classical Arabic and Quranic Arabic.
  • Strong knowledge of Tajweed rules and Quranic interpretation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Arabic, Islamic Studies, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in teaching Quranic Arabic to diverse age groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
  • Certification in Quranic studies or Tajweed (preferred).
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
