Description:
The Islamic Foundation School is seeking a dynamic teacher to join the Quran Arabic studies program for students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Arabic with a focus on Quranic studies, Tajweed, and Islamic teachings. The instructor will be responsible for delivering structured lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels, fostering a deep understanding of the Arabic language and Quranic principles.
Job Responsibilities
- Teach Arabic language with an emphasis on Quranic recitation and understanding.
- Instruct students on Tajweed rules and proper pronunciation.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to different learning levels.
- Conduct assessments to track student progress and provide feedback.
- Encourage a respectful and engaging learning environment.
- Utilize various teaching methodologies to enhance student comprehension.
- Provide one-on-one support as needed for students requiring additional assistance.
- Incorporate Islamic values and teachings into lessons where appropriate.
- Maintain records of student attendance and progress.
- Participate in school or community events related to Quranic education.
- Proficiency in Classical Arabic and Quranic Arabic.
- Strong knowledge of Tajweed rules and Quranic interpretation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Arabic, Islamic Studies, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in teaching Quranic Arabic to diverse age groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
- Certification in Quranic studies or Tajweed (preferred).
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
