Key Responsibilities:

- Administer prescribed medications to patients accurately and safely according to established protocols

- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report any concerns to nursing staff

- Assist with daily living activities and provide emotional support to patients

- Maintain detailed and accurate medication records in compliance with regulatory standards

- Follow all safety procedures and infection control protocols

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care


Skills and Qualifications:

- Current certification as a Medication Aide (CMA) or equivalent credential

- Valid state license or registration as required

- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or assisted living

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with good communication skills

- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work effectively as part of a team

- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards
