POSITION SUMMARY:

Works under normal supervision assisting the Electrical/HVAC Supervisor in all aspects of commercial and residential air conditioning and heating maintenance and repair. Occasionally assists in other aspects of construction as needed. 


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs installation, maintenance and repair on all varieties of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
  • Routine replacement of air filters, belts.
  • Servicing Cooling Towers, Chilled Water Loops, Boilers, AHU’s, etc.
  • Needs to be able to work every Wednesday Evening and Sunday Morning as part of 40-hour work week.
  • Experience in whole building HVAC Automated Control Systems
  • HVAC Helper
  • On Call 24/7
  • Other duties as assigned.



Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current HVAC certifications.
  • EPA Universal Technician Certification
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Commercial HVAC maintenance and installation. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent dexterity and coordination skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience with HVAC building management systems and software.

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

  • All HVAC and construction related tools.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Able to lift 75 to 100 pounds
  • Must be able to participate in long periods of highly strenuous physical activity associated with the construction industry.
  • Must be able to work at all heights. 

 TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be a team player, willing to cooperate with others. 
  • Must be safety conscience at all times.
  • Must be willing and able to communicate information as requested in a timely manner. 

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • All extremes of weather and temperature indoor and outdoor

OTHER:

  • Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives
  • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension and division
  • Must maintain a good attendance record
