Pay Rate:  depending on skills and work experience (starting at $15.25/hr - high school students)

Job Summary:
Seasonal Helper: This entry-level position provides support for maintenance and cleaning projects during school breaks (summer, spring, and winter). Duties include general cleaning, event setup, and light maintenance. Requires physical stamina and good customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with indoor and outdoor jobs, handing tools, supplies, and materials to other workers (technicians or maintenance personnel)
  • Preparing the work area and cleaning the work area or equipment after the job is done.
  • Using tools such as hammers, pliers, and screwdrivers.
  • Assist with grounds and exterior work, such as picking up debris, cutting grass, pressure washing, scrubbing, etc.
  • Perform janitorial cleaning, floor work, and or assist with setups and teardowns.
  • Assist with demo and building projects; work on drywall and painting projects (including cleaning surfaces, sanding, scrubbing, patching, and painting)
  • Moving and relocating furniture inside or outside to other facilities

Requirements

Work Requirements:

  • 16 years minimum age 
  • high school and college students are encouraged to apply
  • reliable transportation 
  • ability to work in a Smoke-Free environment
  • ability to comply with criminal background checks 
  • authorized to work in the United States (E-verify checks requirement)

Physical Requirements:

  • ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments and with exposure to inclement weather conditions.
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (intermittently), bend and twist the body, make repetitive motions, stand for long periods, walk, and climb ladders. Employees will be in constant movement during the shift.
