About this position
RiseWell Community Services is seeking a Part-Time Driver for the Drop in program based out of Copiague & Patchogue; reporting directly to the Drop In Site Supervisor. HOURS: Part-time, up to 25 hours (M/T/Th/F 4-9 PM - Sun 11-4 PM.
Our Outreach programs provide an array of services designed to engage individuals who are reluctant to seek help or experience barriers to access. Services are brought to the person where they are located, whether that be at home, the street, a hospital, or another location. As a part of this team, you’ll assist those we serve to have their basic needs met by providing referrals, linkage, and hands-on assistance with obtaining food, employment, housing, and financial assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent. Clean, valid New York State driver’s license. Fingerprinting, criminal record check and all necessary clearances from the Justice Center.
JOB FUNCTION:
Provides assistance to the Site Supervisor, including driving clients to and from program, participating and leading activities, and assisting with proper paperwork and documentation when needed.
