HUD General Clerk III

Full-Time | Federal Contract Position


Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm


Support Federal Operations. Deliver Accuracy.

Join The Kennedy Collective, a mission-driven nonprofit serving communities for more than 75 years. As a HUD General Clerk III, you’ll provide clerical and administrative support to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Financial Operations Center.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a structured, high-accuracy environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Review partial claims and related documentation for accuracy
  • Prepare and disseminate repayment and lien letters
  • Create and maintain digital folders and archive files
  • Process and label Title-1 claims
  • Monitor and respond to treasury disputes, escalating as appropriate
  • Support additional administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:

  

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or higher required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Ability to pass a government security clearance

Eligibility Requirement:
Must be a person with a qualifying disability or a veteran (AbilityOne federal contract requirement).

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily seated work with occasional standing or walking
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Strong near-vision ability for detailed document review
