Innovative Chemical Products (ICP) is searching for a local Driver to join our team at our warehouse located at Sam Houston Center Dr in Houston, TX 77064

Must possess a CDL- Class A with hazmat endorsement. In addition, a minimum of 2 years commercial driving with a clean driving record is required. 
  • Local position based in Houston 
  • Hourly pay, plus overtime pay after 40 hours worked per week. Compensation-Based on experience
  • The role will divide time between driving and warehouse duties.
  • Average 30+ hours delivering products in a box truck or day cab w/trailer to customers in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio regions. Expansion to Shreveport LA area expected.
  • Weekly 10+ hours at warehouse include, but are not limited to, driving a forklift, loading/unloading products, and general upkeep.
  • Monday through Friday position with occasional Saturday mornings required. Schedule will be generated with a daily goal to be home every night. If overnight stay is needed on the road, ICP provides a hotel room and meal allowance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport of materials for customer orders and intercompany transfers. Raw material pickup from vendors will also be necessary on occasion.
  • Small percentage of loads will require live load and unload; Hourly pay during these times.
  • Warehouse operation and deliveries with a power hand jack and liftgate. 
  • Complete a daily electronic logging device (ELD)
  • Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.
  • Manage routes and routines, proceeding in the most efficient way possible.
  • Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel.
  • Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the equipment at the start & end of the shift and report any issues or damage to management.
  • Comply with all DOT and in-house rules and regulations.
  • Ability to lift items up to 70lbs
  • Forklift operational knowledge
