Position Title: Masker
Reports to: Paint Supervisor
Description: Pinnacle Precision Sheet Metal located in Anaheim, CA is looking Paint Maskers. This position is responsible for the masking of metal parts.
Responsibility:
- Before starting job, review work order and make sure that all prior processes are signed off and completed
- Create a first part and bring it to your supervisor for approval
- Create a last part and bring it to your supervisor for approval
- Applies special tape to parts before they are painted
- Inspects parts for any defects
- Make sure hands are clean before handling the product so there are no fingerprints
- Records and notifies supervisor of any non-conformances
- Maintains a clean working area
- Follows all safety rules and reports any safety concerns
- Demonstrates self-motivation and maintains a fast pace
- Maintains a good attitude with management & coworkers
- Help as needed in all areas of the Paint Dept.
- Cross trains as needed in other departments
- Maintain basic time keeping and job records on computer database
Qualifications
- Requires previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in paint masking preferred
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong visual acuity
Physical Requirements:
- While performing duties of this job, the employees is regularly required to stand; use hands, and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hand and arms; and talk to hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
