Now Hiring: Prep Cook – Little Ruby’s Dallas

Pay: $18 – $20/hr

Little Ruby’s Dallas, part of our growing café brand, is seeking a detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. If you enjoy preparing fresh ingredients, supporting a high-volume kitchen, and helping create delicious dishes, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients, including chopping, portioning, and measuring, to ensure smooth service 
• Assist with mise en place for daily menu items and specials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, storage, and equipment
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Support line cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen staff during service
• Help with inventory checks, receiving, and labeling ingredients

What We’re Looking For

• Previous prep cook or kitchen experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive attitude
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
