Warehouse Associate

Allegis Corporation, established in 1969 is a leading supplier of industrial door access hardware.  We provide innovative door access hardware design and supply-chain solutions for a wide variety of OEM customers worldwide.

A salaried position for a Warehouse Associate is currently available in our Reno, NV facility.

Candidates must be detail oriented, organized, reliable and self-motivated with strong communication skills. 

While RF gun/scanner experience in not required, it is preferred.   Living in close proximity (10-15 miles) of the facility is preferred.  

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

 

Report to work on time each day that you are scheduled to workReceive and inspect inbound purchase orders to ensure it matches the system drawing.Label and stamp boxes with receiving labels that denote date of receiptPut away received/inspected material in carousel or pallet rackingPick parts to complete customer sales ordersPackage boxes and assemble boxes on a pallet to ensure the shipment arrives to the customer intactShip orders via UPS, FedEx and create BOL’s for freight shipments    Schedule freight shipmentsPerform daily cycle counts on specified partsPerform monthly 6S audits to ensure compliance with ISO standardsEnsure the facility is kept in neat and orderly conditionPerform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or GM
