We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor I to oversee our warehouse operations and facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics as well as someone who has recent hands-on experience in forklift operation and is willing to serve as backup to the team on a daily or weekly basis.


**3PL experience is a plus

**Amazon FBA and Home Depot DFC experience is a plus.

**Must have experience managing a warehouse inventory of thousands of SKU's for multiple brands of products.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Operations & Fulfillment

  • Supervise and participate in daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving,
  • picking, packing, and inventory control.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order processing to meet customer SLAs.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA
  • regulations.
  • Coordinate with production and other departments to meet deadlines and prioritize
  • tasks.
  • Support warehouse organization initiatives and efficiency improvements.
  • Oversee facility maintenance and address utility issues or repairs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Inventory Control

  • Maintain 98–99%+ inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Ensure proper labeling, bin organization, and handling of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock concerns to management.
  • Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce company safety standards and proper use of PPE and equipment.
  • Conduct safety inspections and promptly report incidents.

Process Improvement & Technology

  • Identify and implement workflow, productivity, and accuracy improvements.
  • Support the use of technology (ERP, WMS, scanners, shipping platforms).
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop procedures that improve warehouse practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Interview, hire, train, and onboard warehouse employees.
  • Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure operational goals are met.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
  • Coach, discipline, or terminate employees as needed in coordination with HR.
  • Communicate company policies and procedures clearly to staff

Participates in (as needed) and provides oversight and support for the following warehouse functions:


Returns (RMA Process)

  • Assign RMA numbers and track returned products.
  • Ensure returns are processed accurately and inventory systems are updated.

Shipping & Receiving

  • Verify counts and accuracy for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Receive and inspect incoming goods, document and report damages or defects.
  • Ensure pick/pack/ship processes are accurate and efficient, including applying labels and UPCs.
  • Maintain organized records for bills of lading (BOLs) and delivery orders (DOs).
  • Keep shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat and orderly.
  • Collects documents DO/ BOL and organizes them in records related to all inbound/outbound shipments.
  • Maintains inventory controls on racks by location with organizational standards.
  • Keeps shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, sweep, dust and mop.
  • Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
Requirements:

 Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • 3+ years of warehouse or fulfillment experience; 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role
  • preferred.
  • Experience in eCommerce or direct-to-consumer shipping.
  • Current forklift certification required.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to anticipate problems, propose solutions, and make decisions quickly.
  • Experience with shipping and receiving in an eCommerce environment; Amazon FBA experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic inventory management software.
  • Proficiency with ShipStation ecommerce software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to meet timelines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, crouch, and lift 10–50 lbs. for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Availability to open facilities at 7:00 a.m. and close at 5:30 p.m. as needed.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when required.
