A leading hospital system in Las Cruces, NM is hiring a Director of Case Management. This full-time, onsite leadership role oversees case management operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives patient-centered care initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all operations within the Case Management department, ensuring alignment with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Manage departmental resources to ensure financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Foster staff development, engagement, and ongoing education to ensure high-quality care and compliance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and meet organizational goals.
  • Monitor and maintain regulatory compliance and standards of care.
  • Maintain open communication with staff, leadership, and external partners to drive departmental effectiveness.
  • Flexibility for scheduling based on operational needs, including potential for holidays, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
    • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Healthcare Management preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10 years of nursing experience.
    • At least 3 years of Utilization Review and Case Management experience.
    • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • Active RN license in New Mexico or a compact state.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Preferred:
    • Certification in Case Management (CCM or ACM) is a plus.
