Echocardiogram Technologist Float - Per Diem

At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for an Echocardiogram Technologist to join our team.


The primary responsibility of the Echocardiogram Technologist is:

• Performs all basic adult cardiac echocardiogram procedures
• Edits tracings
• Makes measurements and enters data into the computer.
• Distinguishes between normal and abnormal cardiac findings.
• Performs cardiac sonographer duties to meet departmental needs, including recognizing arrhythmias and the implications of specific cardiac and related diagnoses to obtain optimal studies.
• Operates complex equipment accordingly.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

• Minimum - Associates Degree from accredited cardiac ultrasound program or RDCS/RCS eligible background with 1 year of cardiac echo experience.
• Certified through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in Adult Echocardiography.
• Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire
• BLS certification required.

Min: $32.25

Max: $49.99
