About this position
The INFOR CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Application Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our CPQ system to ensure accurate product configurations, pricing, and quoting processes for our linear motion parts catalog. This role requires a passion for programming and/or web development, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering and IT teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for updating the existing product catalog, inputting data for new product introductions, and ensuring the CPQ system operates seamlessly to support sales and customer needs.Maintain and update the current product catalog within the INFOR CPQ system, ensuring accuracy and consistency of product data, pricing, and configurations. Collaborate with Engineering and IT teams to input and manage data for new product introductions (NPI), ensuring seamless integration into the CPQ platform. Develop, customize, and troubleshoot CPQ system functionalities using programming and scripting skills, including SQL, JavaScript, and HTML. Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage large datasets, perform data analysis, and create reports to support CPQ system updates and decision-making. Work with 2D/3D modeling systems such as SOLIDWORKS or CREO to understand product designs and configurations for accurate representation in the CPQ system. Identify and resolve technical issues within the CPQ system, applying strong problem-solving and analytical skills to ensure optimal performance. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on CPQ system capabilities and updates. Document processes, configurations, and updates to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for the CPQ system. Passion for programming and/or web development, with proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and HTML. Experience with 2D/3D modeling software such as SOLIDWORKS or CREO is a strong asset. Mastery or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in data management and system configurations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration with CPQ platforms. Additional programming or scripting language experience (e.g., Python, C#) is a plus. What We Offer:
The salary range for this role is 60,000- 80,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
