Description:
The Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the golf shop, delivering exceptional customer service, managing retail merchandise, and supporting overall golf course operations. This position serves as a key point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment consistent with the standards of Osgood Golf Course.
Requirements:- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Process tee times, check-ins, and payments accurately
- Provide information regarding course rules, events, tournaments, and promotions
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly
- Oversee daily retail operations within the golf shop
- Maintain attractive and organized merchandise displays
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and tagging merchandise
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Promote and upsell merchandise, including apparel, equipment, and accessories
- Operate and reconcile Fore Up point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Open and close the golf shop according to established procedures
- Coordinate with the golf professional staff and management team
- Support tournament operations, outings, and special events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and surrounding areas
