About this position
Republic, a 109-year-old, third-generation enterprise headquartered in the Quad Cities, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join our Electrical Division. This role will manage a well-established book of business in the Dubuque area.
We’re one of the Midwest’s largest independent distributors of electrical, HVAC, energy management, refrigeration, and sign support products—with branches across Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
What You’ll Do
· Build and grow customer relationships to drive profitable sales
· Develop and execute strategic sales plans
· Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
· Present and follow up on quotes and project designs
· Partner with supplier reps for joint business opportunities
· Stay current on new products and technologies
· Share market insights and competitive feedback with leadership
· Work closely with Inside Sales and Support teams
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
· Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of sales or industry experience (or equivalent)
· Strong communication, ethics, and relationship-building skills
· Excellent time management and attention to detail
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus
· Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
