Position Overview: This role leads and oversees the company’s accounting and financial operations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory accounting
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Oversee account reconciliations and strengthen internal controls
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Provide financial analysis and actionable insights to support business decisions
- Improve cash flow management and operational performance
- Optimize ERP systems and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting
- Technical accounting expertise and strong analytical skills
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
