Position Summary:
A Credit Administrative Assistant II (“CAAII”) reports to the Credit Officer of the department. A candidate for CAA would have at least 2-3 years of non-commercial banking experience or several years of commercial/retail banking experience.
A CAAII is responsible for assisting the Credit Officer with the gathering of data and preparation of Board and departmental reports; imaging credit file documentation to the Banks electronic filing system; saving credit file information to the appropriate working files; adding and tracking financial and covenant ticklers; processing Business Express loans via the Numerated platform; preparing financial statement spreads and covenant compliance; and, promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services when applicable.
Both on-the-job training and periodic off-site training will be available.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collecting data and assisting with the preparation of reports for the Credit/Lending Department and Board of Directors
- Imaging credit file documents to the Banks electronic file system and saving to working files.
- Assists with the coordination of loan portfolio reviews, audits and regulatory reviews.
- Inputs, modifies and updates financial and covenant reporting ticklers, borrowing bases and exceptions within Global Wave system
- Prepares credit and loan files related to loan sales in support our Capital Markets group
- Processes Business Express at the direction of the Senior Administrative Assistant
- Prepares financial statement spreads and covenant compliance memos
- Assisting with maintenance of credit and documentation files.
- Majority of work will be commercial in nature (versus consumer)
Other:
- Should have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Should have strong familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
- Should have knowledge of small business lending processes and be familiar with various financial statement types
