Zero-Hours Patient Services Coordinator – Remote
This role is not suitable for candidates without prior GP clinical system experience, as training will not be provided at an introductory level.

About the Role
LineIn is seeking experienced Patient Services Coordinators to support GP practices across the UK. Working remotely, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, handling high-volume calls, accurately recording information, and directing patients to appropriate care pathways using EMIS or SystmOne.
Key Responsibilities
Professionally manage inbound patient calls (minimum target 12 calls/hour).
Accurately document patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
Complete tasks, signpost and book nursing appointments.
Identify urgent cases and escalate appropriately.
Guide patients to online self-service tools where suitable.
Follow structured rotas aligned with GP surgery hours.
Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months’ recent, practical experience using EMIS or SystmOne within a GP practice, with the ability to work independently on the system.
Experience in high-volume patient-facing call roles.
Applicants must be confident in independently troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining productivity in a remote working environment without on-site support.
Reliable home working setup (Windows 11 PC/Laptop, headset, second screen recommended).
Strong communication, multitasking, and typing skills (Min. 40 WPM).
Flexible AM/PM availability, including mandatory Monday AM and/or Friday shifts.
High emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience.
