Career Opportunity: Production Supervisor I

Reports to: Manufacturing Manager

On-Site Job Location: Brooksville, FL

Citizenship Requirements- Due to ITAR regulations you must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Green Card Holder. We can not provide Visa sponsorships. 

Hours/Days of Position: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm, overtime on Friday/Saturday as needed

Requirements:

At Spartronics, the Production Supervisor I oversees daily departmental operations in manufacturing, materials, or quality to ensure safety, quality, and delivery goals are consistently met. This role is responsible for directing team leads and employees, monitoring key metrics, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures, industry regulatory standards, IPC standards, and ITAR requirements. The Supervisor I supports performance feedback, conflict resolution, and promotes continuous improvement. Accesses and maintains employee timekeeping records in accordance with company policy.  


Core Responsibilities-


Responsibilities 

  • Supervise daily team activities and ensure operational goals are achieved. 
  • Coordinate labor and resources based on demand, production schedule, and shift planning. 
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members in collaboration with HR or site leadership. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards. 
  • Monitor quality and delivery metrics, escalate issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. 
  • Conduct daily shift meetings and ensure communication of priorities, risks, and key updates. 
  • Support audits, training initiatives, and employee engagement programs. 
  • Maintain documentation and ensure procedural adherence across team operations. 
  • Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow. 

Required Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing, materials, or quality. 
  • Working knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR). 
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with ERP systems. 
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Associate degree or relevant technical training. 
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams or continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing, CAPA, or audit processes.

Physical Requirements / Essential Functions 

  • Ability to move between work areas, stand or walk for extended periods 
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs 
  • Use of computer and office systems in a production environment 
  • Visual oversight of equipment, materials, and personnel activities
