Description:

 The Residential Program Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for the Canopy Village residential program, serving youth with emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. This full-time role, is responsible for ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care within a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. The Program Manager oversees daily operations, ensures compliance with all regulatory and licensing standards, and directly supervises and supports the Direct Care Provider team, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and professional development. In partnership with a multidisciplinary team, the Program Manager ensures the effective implementation of individualized treatment plans. By combining strong leadership, administrative expertise, and a commitment to youth development, this position fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and positive outcomes for residents.

Requirements:

  

Education- one of the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university plus one (1) year of full-time experience in a children’s residential program OR

  • An associate’s degree or a minimum of forty-eight (48) credit hours from an accredited college and two (2) years of full-time experience in a children's residential care facility OR

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of full-time experience in a children's residential care facility

Skills: 

  • Strong leadership and management abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in professional setting

  • Capacity to work collaboratively with a diverse team

  • Expertise in behavioral documentation

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook

  • Experience with Best Notes or other software for case management and behavioral documentation, including med      management

Licensures/Certifications:

  • First Aid/CPR certified

  • Hold a valid driver’s license 

  • DHW Criminal Fingerprinting and Background Enhanced Certification

  • Clearance with the National Sex Offender Registry
