POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Engineered Systems division specializes in the design, engineering and custom fabrication of permanent fall protection and suspension systems. These systems include rooftop horizontal lifelines, overhead rigid rail and building facade access. With an established network of distributors and installers, PSG performs work nationwide and frequently consults with clients by performing hazard assessments and fall protection training classes. As a division of Guardian Fall Protection, ESG also works to design, prototype, test, and fabricate innovative products for the fall protection safety market. The Project Manager role is responsible for completing necessary tasks to successfully execute various engineering projects on-time, on-budget, and with the customer experience maintained as the number one priority.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage all client communication, including submittal correspondence and shipment, installation, and closeout coordination.
• Review & ensure project specifications are understood and met
• Gather project information and collaborate with design, engineering supply, production, and logistics teams to develop project schedule
• Ensure Quality Control processes are followed and documented
• Coordinate site service schedules to minimize cost and utilize best available personnel
• Ensure ESG Logistics Coordinator completes closeout documentation
• Track project costs and help prepare billing & costing information
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Duties/Processes included but not limited to –
• All Customer Communications starting from moment project is marked closed won to final scope being completed, includes gathering all pertinent details for DE team and MC.
o PAE Email
o Prelim Process – always review each set before sending to customer for accuracy
Send to Customer
Review returned prelims and communicate changes with DE
o Final Engineering –
Sending to Customer
o Communicating with MC for Orders to Ship
Reviewing paperwork once completed
Process varies depending on material type
o Communicating Tracking Info to Customer
o Creating Final O&M’s and Sending to Customer
• Support to Sales Staff for pricing questions, stock levels, initial project review etc.
• Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, and two to five years of project manager experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or two years of project management experience.
• Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Valid Driver’s License
• Computer skills required: Advanced Microsoft Office Suite;
• Other skills required:
o Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
o Demonstrated excellent organizational skills
o Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks while working both independently and with a team – Motivated & self-starter
o Ability to respond appropriately to constant change in priorities and services as dictated by management and customer needs
o Type 40+ wpm/Ten Key and computer knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, and Outlook are a must. Cloud computing and ERP systems.
o Must be able to present conflict resolution and problem solving in a prompt, positive, professional manner
o Must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people
o Experience in manufacturing and/or construction field
