Coordinator Business Intelligence and Reporting, Information Services
Summary:
Coordinates daily operations of the Business Intelligence and Reporting team, departmental projects and initiatives. The role is responsible for building, implementing and supporting reporting solutions. Configuring the Epic application and writing SQL with Crystal Reports to perform data mining, build dashboard and ensure requests are resolved in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organization and Scheduling:
Arranging meetings, events, and activities, and managing schedules to keep projects on track. Coordinates projects and initiatives
- Communication and Facilitation:
Serving as a central point of contact, ensuring information flows between different teams and stakeholders.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Maintaining records, preparing reports, and ensuring all necessary documentation is in order for audits and presentations.
- Administrative Support:
Handling daily operations, managing supplies, and performing various tasks to support team productivity.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
Managing relationships with clients, vendors, staff, and other relevant parties to foster collaboration.
- Responsible for building, implementing and supporting reporting solutions.
- Collects, analyzes and converts raw data elements into written/electronic reports.
- Performs data scrubbing, data normalization and validation of findings.
- Interprets third-party or government agencies technical documentation requirements. Ability to generate and share files with requesting agency.
- Collaborate with individuals to understand their workflows and how data generated from the workflow is entered into the database to determine how to retrieve the data.
- Configuring the Epic application and writing SQL with Crystal Reports to perform data mining, build dashboards and complete report requests.
- Demonstrates ability to solve problems and resolution. Seeks advice from co-workers on unresolved issues.
- Demonstrates the ability to adjust internal/personal activities to meet the needs of the organization.
- Provides exemplary customer service with minimal customer complaints.
- Instructs or arranges end-user training as requested.
- Basic understanding of SQL schema design
- Perform basic programming concepts
- Documenting and managing resources used for reporting, such as commenting code and writing technical documents.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to learn various software applications.
- Project Management and Leadership Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Work experience in Microsoft SQL server (T-SQL) and report writing preferred.
- Pleasant interpersonal communication
- Familiarity with Crystal Reports
- Ability to organize, analyze, problem-solve, multi-task and educate.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Obtain and maintain Epic Cogito Certification within 6 months of hire. This includes reporting workbench, radar dashboards and Clarity and Caboodle data models.
