What you’ll do:

  • Enter and update parts info in our system — part numbers, descriptions, prices, fitment, manufacturer info, and units.
  • Keep part records current (cross-references, supersessions, alternate numbers).
  • Load vendor product lists, price changes, and tech updates into the database.
  • Update stock levels after counts and help reconcile inventory differences.
  • Research and fix data issues using vendor catalogs, OEM docs, and online resources.
  • Support sales and order entry by looking up parts and checking availability.
  • Follow our data-entry rules and do regular checks to keep data accurate.
  • Pull basic reports (inventory, pricing, missing info) for the team.

Who we’re looking for:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Extra coursework in auto tech, inventory, or data is a plus.
  • Around 1 year of data entry or inventory experience — automotive parts/catalog experience is a bonus.
  • A basic understanding of part numbers and fitment is helpful.

Skills that help:

  • Detail-oriented and good at repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable typing (aim for about 45+ WPM).
  • Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUP, filters) and quick to learn new systems.
  • Good at researching and solving minor data problems.
  • Clear communicator and a team player.
  • Can manage time well in a busy environment.

Work environment:

  • Office or next to the warehouse. You may occasionally move light boxes/samples.
  • Full-time day shift, with possible overtime during big inventory or catalog updates.

Reports to:

  • Inventory Manager, Parts Manager, or Data Lead
