Intake Coordinator (Full-Time | Remote)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
Full-Time | $20–$22 per hour | 40 hours per week

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Intake Coordinator to join our growing healthcare team. What You’ll Do
Guide new patients through the intake process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
Verify insurance benefits across multiple payers, including coverage for medications and therapies
Request and track prior authorizations, proactively managing renewals before expiration
Enter and maintain patient information in electronic systems with a high level of accuracy
Communicate clearly with patients regarding coverage details and expected out-of-pocket costs
Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure a seamless transition into care
Navigate multiple insurance portals and websites daily
Deliver exceptional customer service that enhances the overall patient experience
What We’re Looking For
Experience in a customer service role; background as a medical receptionist or intake coordinator is highly preferred
Working knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
Solid understanding of insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and coverage terminology
Strong administrative and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Clear, compassionate communication skills—both verbal and written
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Experience Requirements
Prior authorization experience: 1 year (required)
Insurance benefits verification: 2 years (required)
IV infusion experience: 1 year (preferred)
