JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Expediter
Reports to: Manager on Duty
Overall Responsibilities:
The responsibilities are centered around sending food out correctly to our guest.
Specific Duties:
- Managing the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area.
- Ensuring the accuracy and presentation of dishes.
- Communicating with kitchen staff and front-of-house staff.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the expediting station.
- Prioritizing orders and managing the kitchen's workflow.
- Acting as a liaison between the kitchen and the front-of-house staff.
- Ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met.
- Managing the timing of food delivery.
- Relaying information such as ticket times, order modifications, and any delays.
- Acting as a central point of communication between the kitchen and the front-of-house staff.
- Preventing errors and delays.
- Double Check & prepare to-go orders
- Posses a high degree of organizational skills
- Managing the flow of food from the kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared and ready to be served at the same time.
- Optimizing the food delivery process and minimizing waste.
