About this position

Atwal Eye Care is a well-established, multi-location medical practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and a safe, comfortable environment for our patients and staff. We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team and support daily operations across our five office locations.


Position Summary

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all facilities, equipment, and grounds across the practice’s locations. This role ensures that all buildings operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with health and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems (electrical, plumbing, lighting,  etc.).

  • Handle minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs as needed.

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of facility interiors and exteriors, including grounds, parking areas, and signage.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from staff or management.

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and scheduled maintenance.

  • Monitor and restock maintenance supplies and tools.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire safety, and building codes.

  • Assist in setting up or moving equipment and furniture between locations as needed.

  • Support emergency repairs and after-hours maintenance issues when required.

  • Drive between practice locations as needed (mileage reimbursement provided).


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of general maintenance or facilities experience (healthcare or multi-site experience a plus).

  • Working knowledge of building systems, mechanical repairs, and basic electrical/plumbing.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Salary Information
