Position Summary

The Housekeeping Team plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests by ensuring every space is fresh, clean, and inviting. We take pride in sparkling floors, streak-free mirrors, and neatly made beds that reflect our commitment to excellence. Housekeeping Team Members are responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the campground, including public areas, guest facilities, and common buildings, in a thorough, efficient, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to creating extraordinary guest experiences in every interaction.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for designated buildings and facilities.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals as trained; always follow instructions and wear required PPE (gloves, boots, goggles, etc.).
• Deliver lost and found items to the main office with site/cabin number and date noted; provide valuables directly to a housekeeping supervisor.
• Provide attentive and friendly guest service; greet guests with a smile and assist with their needs promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance with proper uniform and name tag at all times.
• Track and report supply needs (e.g., paper products, cleaning supplies, garbage bags) to the General Manager.
• Report all broken, damaged, or malfunctioning items on the property or within facilities.
• Escalate guest complaints, concerns, or requests to the General Manager and follow up as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the campground.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to customer service and creating positive guest experiences.
• Ability to read and understand product labels and safety instructions.
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments, including wet or slipper conditions. 
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operate equipment responsibly.
• Basic knowledge of chemical handling, storage, and usage; familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
