Why This Isn't "Just" an Assistant Controller Role
This position is designed for growth - You won't sit in a corner reconciling accounts all day (though, yes, you'll reconcile accounts - and do them well).

You'll be:
- Preparing an owning pieces of the monthly close
- Buildling and improving reporting processes
- Partnering with operational leaders
- Supporting likely acquitions, due dilligence, and integrations
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives
- Helping shape both effective and efficient internal controls as we grow
- Assisting with financial statement preparation and monthly close
- Supporting AR, AP, and general ledger processes
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing system integrations (NetSuite / QuickBooks experience helpful)
- Overseeing multi-state sales tax and federal excise tax reporting
- Maintaining and track fixed assets
- Providing financial analysis to business leaders
- Supporting audits and compliance initiatives
- Driving process improvement projects

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Public accounting experience is a plus
