REQUIRED - MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for role. Only those with a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance will be considered.

 Duties and Responsibilities: 

- Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate hardware, software, and other network-related problems to ensure availability and performance.

- Provide technical expertise for the performance and/or configuration of enclave networks and supporting systems.

- Perform general LAN/CAN/WAN administration and support, including:

- Switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers

- Schedule, coordinate, and execute firmware upgrades and hardware migrations in accordance with change management practices.

- Coordinate with responsible users, system owners, and external organizations to drive timely resolution of network or system incidents.

- Support DNS services, including configuration and maintenance of BIND.

- Perform Linux-based operational and troubleshooting tasks using common command-line utilities.

- Support AWS cloud environment activities, with emphasis on EC2 and VPC fundamentals (connectivity, routing, and troubleshooting).

- Contribute to operational efficiency through scripting and automation; Ansible experience is a plus.

Required Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field and six (6) years of experience in a similar role; or An additional six (6) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree; or An Associate’s Degree plus an additional four (4) years of relevant experience. Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II (SEC+ or CCNA)

- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise network environments (LAN/CAN/WAN).

- Proven ability to troubleshoot network/system issues and coordinate incident resolution across multiple stakeholders.

- Familiarity with:

- AWS (particularly EC2 and VPC)

- DNS/BIND

- Linux command-line operations and troubleshooting

Desired Skills:

- Familiarity and/or hands-on experience with:

- Cisco IOS

- F5 BIG-IP

- Palo Alto hardware and software

- Experience with scripting and automation, especially Ansible.

- Experience designing and planning new network environments.
